Janice S. Vanderbilt, CPA

Janice S. Vanderbilt has over 15 years of accounting experience including 8 years in the public accounting industry. She is a Davenport University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Prior to starting her own practice, she was an owner of a family business for ten years.

Janice realizes that clients want more than the traditional degree of service from their CPA, and that we must be qualified to offer many supplementary value-added services to set ourselves apart. She currently shares that vision with the firm while she serves as the firm's manager.
During her career, Janice has provided accounting, consulting, and taxation services to individuals, sole proprietorships, C corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, estates, trusts, and personal service corporations. She has served clients in many fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, construction, restaurant, not for profit, and professional services industries.

She is currently a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Michigan Association of CPA's and Grand Rapids Toastmasters. In addition, Janice has taught investment classes to the public and participated in forming and managing an investment club for seven years and taught management and finance classes at the university level. She has served as an officer in civic organizations and is serving as a volunteer budget counselor at her Church.
